James Storm sur Wrestling Ramble !

Récemment interview par Phil Allely, le cowboy James Storm y évoque de nombreux sujets. Dans un premier temps, je vous poste l'interview en anglais et vous le traduirai quand j'en aurais le temps:

Phil: "So James what does it mean to be included on the UK/Irish tour?"

JS: "It is always great to on the UK/Irish tour. I can say for sure that is my favourite place to go. The fans are all really into it and crazy for what we do."

Phil: "Alors James qu'est-ce que cela signifie d'être inclus sur la tournée du Royaume-Uni/Irlande?"

JS :"C'est toujours bien d'être au Royaume-Uni et en Irlande. Je peux dire avec certitude que c'est l'endroit où je préfère me rendre. Les fans sont vraiment des connaisseurs et dingues de ce que nous faisons. "

Phil: "At present it seems as if Ireland will be the only show not recorded for TV. Will it be any different than the others?"

JS: "Yes we are doing live shows and a One Night Only PPV in England/Scotland. They will be exciting do be a part of. The big difference between them and our Dublin show is that it is a house show and we will be a bit different as we can relax a bit more. There will no script that night and we will be having out there. You Irish are wild guys and great drinkers, so I'm looking forward to that leg of the tour."

Phil: À l'heure actuelle, il semble que le show Irlandais sera le seul à ne pas être enregistré pour la TV. Y aura t'il des différences avec les autres shows?"

JS: "Oui, nous allons faire des show et un PPV One Night Only en Angleterre / Ecosse. Ils seront déchaîné d'être de la partie. La grande différence entre eux et notre show de Dublin, c'est qu'il est un House Show et grâce à cette différence, nous poureons nous y détendre un peu plus. Il y aura pas de script cette nuit-là. Vous les Irlandais êtes des gars naturels et de grands buveurs, donc je suis impatient d'aller me promener durant la tournée."

Phil: "How do you feel about the One Night Only format and that it will be made in the UK?"

JS "The British PPV will be awesome, the thing about One Night Only shows is that it is an exciting concept and they stand alone outside of our normal storylines. They tell a very different story and are something we can all get our teeth into. They are always fun for us all."

"The other shows will be live recordings. So they are scripted and need to tell the story. They are tougher to do, but we all have a job to do and you just out there and feel the energy of the fans. I enjoy everything we are doing and this tour has it all."

Phil: "Quels sont vos impressions pour le One Night Only et qu'il sera enregistré au Royaume-Uni?" 
 

JS: "Le PPV Britannique va être génial, le truc avec les shows One Night Only c'est que c'est un concept passionnant et autonome, en restant en dehors des storylines. Ils racontent une histoire différente et sont quelque chose que nous pouvons tous faire, y être présent. Pour nous, ils sont toujours amusants."

"Les autres spectacles seront enregistrés en direct. Ils sont donc scriptés, ils doivent raconter l'histoire. Ils sont plus difficiles à faire, mais nous avons tous un travail à effectuer et il suffit juste d'y aller et ressentir l'énergie des fans. Je vais profiter de chaque chose que nous ferons sur ce tour. "

Phil: "So James do you think in your opinion do you feel the reduction in PPV events by TNA was a good one?

JS : "I definitely think the decision to reduce our PPV to four was a good one. We now have more time to build them up and they are more entertaining for that."

Phil: "Alors James, pesez-vous que la décision de réduire le nombre de PPV était la bonne?"

JS: "Je pense définitivement que la décision de réduire les PPV à quatre était une bonne idée. Nous avons plus de temps pour les construire et ils sont plus divertissants à cause de cela."

Phil: "What about Hulk Hogan leaving the company. How do you feel about it?"

JS: "Yeah, the way I see it Hulk Hogan came and he left. He brought us a whole new level of interest from a lot of markets and he opened doors for us. I don't know if we will see him again, but you have to admit he got our product out there to a wider audience and that is was important to do."

Phil: " Votre avis sur le départ d'Hulk Hogan, qu ressentez-vous?"

JS: " oui, la façon dont je perçois cela, c'est qu'Hulk Hogan est venu et est parti. Il nous a ouverts de nombreuses portes, grâce à lui nous avons eu plus d'opportunités, on a élargi notre public. Je ne sais pas si nous le reverrons un jour mais on doit admettre qu'il a été important pour nous."

Phil: "What do you think makes TNA different than other companies out there James?"

"In my opinion our fans of wrestling tune in to see wrestling. So that is what we offer them. Yes we mix it up and have segments, but we offer fans the best wrestling out there."

"One thing I will say is that I feel title matches should be defended on PPV and not free TV. It makes the matches more special for us and the fans."

Phil: " James, selon-vous en quoi la TNA est-elle différente des autres fédérations?"

JS: "A mon avis, nos fans nous regardent pour voir du catch. Donc, c'est ce que nous leur offrons. Oui un mixe de catch et de segments, mais nous offrons le meilleur catch actuel."

"Une chose que je souhaiterais dire, c'est que j'ai l'impression que les matchs pour un titre devraient se faire durant un PPV et pas diffusé gratuitement à la TV. Cà rend le match plus particulier pour le fan et nous. "

Phil: "Speaking of titles James. Is the World Title on your radar in 2014?"

JS: "I'd like to think I will get the World Title back again one day soon. But you really do have to work hard to get that opportunity and I always do."

Phil: "En parlant de titre James, Le titre de Champion du Monde est-il dans ton viseur en 2014?"

JS: " J'aime penser que je vais regagner le titre de Champion du Monde prochainement. Mais tu dois réellement travailler durement pour avoir cette opportunité et c'est ce que je fais."

Phil: "We all know of course that you like a beer and of course there have been other wrestlers who have carried a can or bottle to the ring before. Do you feel you are honouring them or was this a continuation of your own persona?"

JS: "People will always compare a wrestler to someone else who has come before them. There are no new things to do any more. I think we all take an idea or a bit of ourselves and we make it our own style. I Mean Steve Austin came out with beer, but he was different than me and of course Sandman came before that. For example am I copying Shawn Michaels by using the superkick? He made it popular, but that has been around a long time."

Phil: Nous savons tous bien sûr que vous aimez la bière et forcément, il y a eu dans le passé d'autres lutteurs qui faisaient leurs entrées canette ou bouteille de bière en main. Pensez-vous les honorer ou est-ce un trait de votre personnalité que vous incorporé à votre personnage?"

«Les gens vont toujours comparer un lutteur à un autre l'ayant précédé. Il n'y a pas de nouvelles choses à faire non plus. Je pense que nous nous inspirons d'une chose que nous faisons notre, avec notre style. Je veux dire Steve Austin venais avec de la bière, mais nous sommes différents et bien sûr Sandman le faisait avant. Par exemple est-ce que je copie Shawn Michaels en utilisant le superkick? Il a rendu populaire, mais c'était déjà utilisé depuis un bon moment."

Phil: "So let's ask you James, what does the future hold for 'The Cowboy?"

JS: "In my future I'd like to see titles, much more wrestling and of course drinking beer."

Phil: "Bon, je vais vous demander de quoi sera fait votre avenir le Cowboy?"

Js:" Mon futur, j'aimerais y voir des titres, plus de catch et forcément, continuer à boire de la bière."

Phil: "What about the current TNA roster. Have you any of your peers that you feel may be able to step up and win the World Title, if they received the opportunity?"

JS: "As for other guys here who have title potential. There is of course Roode and (the UK's own) Magnus is a strong contender too. He (Magnus) loves wrestling and he really wants to succeed. That guy is always watching old matches to learn more. You have to put in the hard work and if you do the time will come."

Phil: " A propos du roster actuel de la TNA, pensez-vous que l'un de vos actuels compère pourrais franchir une étape et remporter le titre de Champion du Monde si on lui en donnait l'opportunité?"

JS: " Bien sur, il y a Roode et Magnus qui est un gros compétiteur. Il adore le catch et veux réellement avoir du succès. Ce gars regarde tout le temps des vieux matchs pour en apprendre plus. Vous devez travaillez dure et si vous les faites, votre heure viendra."

Phil: "Outside of wrestling what occupies your time James?"

JS: "I spend as much time as I can with my family when I am off the road. I like to try to get back some of the time I miss with them. I am also working on a reality show idea I have had for a while. Where I run a bar. I'd love it to take off."

Phil; "En dehors du catch, comment occupez-vous votre temps James?"

Js: " Je passe le plus de temps possible avec ma famille quand je ne suis pas sur la route. J'aime revenir de temps à autres à la maison, ils me manquent. Je travaillent également sur un show de télé réalité qui me trottait, je l'ai imaginé il y a un bon moment. Je m'occupe d'un bar et j'aime qu'il ait du succès."
