The first time, we just sort of did it. I brought them out and they just said sure. I pulled some strings and they flew them in.
The next couple of times i told them, 'hey, this is their job. They do this for a living. You have to realize that we do this professionally 5 days a week all across the world. These aren't some cats doing this for a hobby or something.' After that, they were just like, well it's okay.

You are a great worker and I'm sure you understand that. These are the guys we are here for and honestly, this business is probably not going to work out for you.'

Me and Bruce Prichard had that conversation the very first moment we locked eyes but we didn't have that conversation. He approached me, put out his hand and gave his signature Bruce Prichard side snicker and that's about it. Thing is, I didn't dwell on that. I didn't have my wrestling career just to tell Bruce Prichard to kiss my ass.
I was actually the one that gave Dixie the recommendation for Bruce. She came to me and asked me 'What do you think about Bruce?' I told her, if there is anyone out there that is going to tell it like it is, it's going to be Bruce.

Actually, I never really did work much with Prichard. At least not much on my character or anything. I don't really know if any of this current stuff was done by him or Eric or from who. I talked to him quite a bit about my contract and that was really about it. That went very smoothly.
Now lately i don't deal with that stuff. I have them call my guy, pitch their line and work it out between the two. My guy gets back to me and If i like it, I sign it. You know.

Um i think Bischoff is still around, I think its just a production capacity. I think with Hogan, some people think he had more clout than he did. I think they really wanted him to do a bit more but I think he just didn't want to really do more at this time. As far as Hogan as a person, Cool cat.
As far as working with him. I wouldn't know. I never worked with them. I never see them, i never talk to them. When they just asked me 'This is what we need from you' I did it and that was that.

Heummm, je pense qu'Eric est encore présent, je crois qu'il bosse à la production. Je pense qu'avec Hogan, certaines personnes ont cru qu'il pourrait apporter plus. Je crois qu'ils voulaient réellement qu'il apporte un plus mais lui n'a pas voulu réellement en faire plus, Hogan restant égale à lui-même.
Pour ce qui est de travailler avec lui, je ne saurais pas quoi dire, je n'ai jamais travailler avec lui. Je ne le voyait jamais, lui parlait jamais. Je faisais juste ce qu'ils me demandaient de faire.

This is the thing. I don't care. I don't care how much money they spend on Hogan. I don't care how much they spend on Bischoff. If they don't spend it on them, they aren't going to spend it on me. I don't care if they paid Hogan 2 million per episode. You think if they don't break some of that money off for me after I just signed a contract? Hell no. This cat, I don't have a problem with Vince Russo. When he left i just told him, It is what it is. He always had 22 million reasons for making the decisions that he made. But when Hogan and Bischoff came in they said 'Oh we have this great idea. We are going to do this thing and take you off of TV and re-brand you. Do all this other stuff. We do this kidnapping thing and you come back as a psychopath.' I was cool with it.
I sat at home for 3 months on a bitching ass vacation. I had one of the best vacations in the history of vacations. Paid vacation. Getting ready so i call them back Week after Week 'What do you guys need me to do'. They would say 'We are still coming up with something'. Vince Russo with his infinite ridiculousness just said, we are short on babyfaces and so i get a call saying 'Joe we need to bring you back to TV'.
So I asked him, So how is it that you are going to bring me back. He said, I don't know how just yet but we need to bring you in. So the dude couldn't write his way out of a kidnapping. The only reason why I bring this up is because he has the audacity to blame all of his silliness on other people. And by the way wrestlers, Pro wrestlers all over the world and people in the business. Stop whoring yourself out to shoot interviews. This man couldn't write his way out of a kidnapping. That's how much respect he had for the product, how much respect he had for the fans and that is indicative of his style of what he did. He was the head writer at the time and this is the way he felt that was admissible. Now i know this little bitch is going to go back on a shoot and talk all of this shit.

Je suis resté trois mois à la maison, les meilleurs congés payés de l’histoire. Congés payés. Étant prêt, je commence a les appelé semaine après semaines, "Vous avez besoin de moi pour...". Ils me répondait,"On va y venir avec quelque chose". Vince Russo avec son infini ridicule infini a dit,"nous sommes à court de babyfaces et donc on a besoin de te ramener aux show TV."
Donc je lui ai demandé, "Donc, tu vas me faire revenir ainsi." Il m'a répondu, "je ne sais pas comment, mais on a besoin que tu reviennes." Donc, c'est le gars qui foire et qui rejette ensuite la faute sur autrui. De surcroit sur des lutteurs, des lutteurs professionnels travaillant dans le monde entier et des gens du business. Ne lisez plus ses interviews, ils a montré le respect qu'il a du business, des fans et des lutteurs, c'est son style. Il était à la tête de l'équipe créative et maintenant, il revient juste pour critiquer.

I think with TNA now, especially with the inner office changes. I think hopefully I will be on top. I told them already. I said 'Look, you guys have tried to do things in different ways.' I told them at the beginning of last year. 'You guys have been using me in a utilitarian way for the past 2 or 3 years. I'm cool with it. I know this is a team effort but I'm ready to run with it and produce for you if you give me the opportunity.'
I've told John Gaburick the same thing. 'You guys have been using me in a utilitarian way for the past 2 or 3 years. I'm ready to get shit done. If you want to run with me, It's going to be this year. The ball is in their hands and we will just see what happens."
